Business Growth

According to Forbes.Com, Atlanta was ranked 24th in the nation for best places for business and careers. Local business owners have complained about the difficulty in obtaining licenses, parking issues, and the inability of officials to help find harmony between them and the local residents. I will also ensure to listen to and channel the recommendations of all the constituents in the district, especially the recommendations of the neighborhood associations and neighborhood planning units (NPUs), so that the efforts of these groups are respected and heard.

SOLUTION

I WILL FIGHT to support small/local business growth in District 6, and I will also develop forums for art and cultural exchanges. Working for the promotion of local art, cultural and career festivals is a priority. I WILL FIGHT for the collaboration between the City of Atlanta and various national organizations for using Atlanta as their location for conferences and conventions.
